It's already 2014!

Wow, how time flies and you you just can't understand where the time goes. You try and use your time wisely, but then never seems to be enough of it. Loren is a sophomore at Herriman high and just enjoyed his first season of being on the wrestling team! He did well. Gavin is almost done with his freshman year at Utah State University! He really likes it up in Logan. Taren is almost 22 now and enjoying every minute of being young. He just bought himself a motorcycle. They are all such happy young men. I love them beyond what words could describe.

May 2012. We had some visitors.

We had some visitors in May of 2012. Rianna and Grayson Witte came to stay with us for a little while in May. Rianna is married to Joshua Witte who is my nephew. His mom is Maryann, who is my sister.
We had so much fun getting to know them and spend time with them. Grayson loves all of the BIG boys.

Taren turned 20 years old! APRIL 2012

Wow, how time flies. My baby boy, Taren, turned 20 years old. I am so proud of the young man he has turned into. He is going to school at SLCC and working at Best Buy. He is working towards a bachelor's degree and is staying focused and dedicated to school. He is really into fitness. He works out every day if not two times a day. He loves to hike and rock climb. He spends his free time with friends and playing flag football on his multiple flag football teams.

April 2012

In April of 2012 we decided to finish the main room in our basement. We have lived in our house for 15 years now and the only room we had finished down stairs was Taren's bedroom. David and the boys worked on it all together whenever they had free time. It turned out gorgeous and it is definitely one of the most used rooms now in our house. It is one of my favorite rooms to be in.

Gavin's Jr. Prom

Gavin went to his Jr. Prom this weekend. He is so handsome in his tux. I can't believe how when one of my boys puts on a tux it just automatically makes him look older and more mature. So, so handsome. I love going with my boys and helping them pick out their tuxes. I'm glad they still need me for some things. I definitely need them more than they need me.

Gavin's date was Kaylyn Eliason. Gavin has known Kaylyn since he was about 3 years old. She has been to several birthday parties, attended pre-school and been in our car pools with Gavin. She is such a beautiful and sweet girl.

Gavin had a great time. I think it turned out better than he thought it would. It is so fun to watch him grow up. I'm so proud of him.

Out with 2011 and in with 2012

2011 went by fast. My boys grew up tremendously. Literally and figuratively. Gavin and Loren are now taller than me and Taren, their older brother. We have all grown as a family. Trying to figure everything out with, Jr. high, high school, college, and mom working. We all have to keep this house running and our family close. In fact, that is my goal for 2012, to get this family closer and to keep them close.

Driver's License!

I can't believe Gavin is old enough to have a driver's license. It seems like we were just teaching him how to ride a bike. I'm so proud of him. He is such a good driver. The fun times are just beginning.

Simple but SWEET!

A nice relaxing evening lounging on the couch with some of my favorite people doing one of my favorite past times. . . watching the television. Thanks for a simple, but SWEET birthday family!

Some of the cutest boys I've seen . . playing chess. This was David's birthday present from us.

Just the way I like my birthday.

This beautiful cake was baked by my 3 beautiful boys.

mmmmm. . . .Chocolate with strawberries. Wait. . . does that actually say how they feel about me?

Christmas 2010

Christmas Day.

Christmas 2010

Pajama Party. Lisa Johnson and Wendy Brimhall with babes. Gavin and Tavner. And Brekyn.

Christmas 2010

What a great Christmas. It all started with a trip to Salt Lake City to see the lights. It's been such a long time since we have done this that the boys had no memory of ever doing this. Taren had to work, so he wasn't able to go. We took along our, "Son from another mother", Andrew Phelps. He has been a part of our family since he was about 2 or 3. It was a beautiful night. Then we had our annual "Noorda Family Pajama Party." This is always held on Christmas eve. We all had a great time. We had about 6 little pairs of feet running around. I love all of my great nephews. Christmas day was fun. The boys got everything that they wanted. In the afternoon we spent some time at my mom and dad's home. Grandpa and Grandma Jensen. It was a nice and relaxing Christmas day. I hope that everyone else had a wonderful Christmas.

Thanksgiving.

It was a great day. Weather wasn't bad, just a little cold. Had time to put the turkey in the oven, get the rolls set out to rise and went to the gym with David for a little work out. Boys were at home cleaning for company. This year Grandma and Grandpa Jensen joined us along with Gina, John, Allyssa, Rand, Rylen and Tevin. Wendy, Tyler and Tavner dropped by. We were missing a lot of family, but it still was a lot of fun. I actually got talked in to going to the Black Friday sale at Walmart that started at 12:01 a.m. My boys wanted to see what all the fuss was about. They enjoyed seeing all the crazy people. My boys were actually a great help to everyone. They were grabbing things for people all around us. I have such good hearted boys, always willing to help.

My little Vampires "Halloween Memories."

These are my 3 boys. I didn't realize that I dressed them all as vampires at the age of 2 until last year when we had our niece Allyssa and her son Rylen over for Halloween. Rylen needed a costume. I remembered that I still had the vampire cape that my friend Lori made me in 1994 when Taren was the first vampire. Watching Rylen be a vampire made me reminisce and I got out all the old pictures and realized that all my boys were vampires when the were 2 yrs old. Aren't they the cutest?

October 24, 1020

Pumpkin Carving Time. This is always a fun tradition in our house. The boys brought out the big tools this year. A drummel tool and some kind of saw. Taren was very creative and did the Utah Jazz logo. I guess David had love on his mind. He did the heart. Loren and Gavin tried to make them as ugly as possible. Scharla and I just followed a pattern.

October 17, 2010 Jack "Super Dog."

Loren wanted to make a Halloween costume for Jack. He took a piece of cloth and colored the whole thing. Now Jack is Super Dog. Ready to fight crime. Faster than a speeding bullet.
